Lator Pestilens, the Sieging Plague
The Lator Pestilens embody holy might mixed with darkness, their essence filtered through the harm of Gor, the darkness of Sar, and the ruin of Des. They harbor a deep hatred for unnatural life, particularly the undead. Their crown is marked with the Mark of Ravening tattoo, signifying their preference for hunting intelligent undead and bringing an end to their terror. They empower their weapons with their hatred, coating them in caustic or radiant energy using the Contempt of Gloom.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Charisma score increases by 1.
Age. Lator Pestilens have a similar lifespan to humans, reaching maturity at around 20 years and living up to 100 years.
Size. Lator Pestilens are similar in size to humans, ranging from 5 to 6 feet tall. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision. Your dark-infused nature grants you superior vision in dim and dark conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Mark of Ravening. You bear the Mark of Ravening tattoo on your crown, representing your intense hatred for intelligent undead and your specialized skills in hunting them down. You gain the following benefits:

When you hit an undead creature with a melee weapon attack, you can choose to deal additional radiant or necrotic damage. The damage is equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1). Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Unnatural Resistance. You have resistance to necrotic damage.
